Creating a DNN Registration Form

1. Create user define Questions

In order to create/edit a DNN Registration Form, choose option “Edit Page Wizard” from the "Manage" menu.
create a new Form
Choosing option "Single Page" and Click "Next" Button.
Wizard Type
  • Type in "Email" in the Question field, and choosing option "Email TextBox" and Click "Add Question" Button.
  • Type in "Name" in the Question field, and choosing option "Single TextBox" and Click "Add Question" Button.
  • Type in "Password" in the Question field, and choosing option "Password TextBox" and Click "Add Question" Button.
  • Type in "Password confirm" in the Question field, and choosing option "Password TextBox" and Click "Add Question" Button.

2. Setup relation between user define Question and DNN Membership field

Click "Edit" Button for the "Email" textbox.

  • 1. Choose the "Email" option from "DNN Member relation" drop down list under Registration Settings
  • Click "Update" button
  • Update DNN Member relation
  • 2. Click "Edit" Button for the "Name" textbox.
  • Choose the "FirstName" option from "DNN Member relation" drop down list
  • Click "Update" button
  • 3. Click "Edit" Button for the "Password" textbox.
  • Choose the "Password" option from "DNN Member relation" drop down list
  • Click "Update" button
  • 4. Click "Edit" Button for the "Password confirm" textbox.
  • Choose the "Password confirm" option from "DNN Member relation" drop down list
  • Click "Update" button
  • 2. Update Smart Form DNN Registration Settings

    Choose option “Settings” from the "Manage" menu, Check the "Enable Registration" Under Registration Settings
    The "Auto Login After Register" option will auto login Register after submit the form when DNN is allow Public User Registration(Admin -> Site Settings -> Security Settings -> User Registration)
